Sewing es mi arte! I’m thankful for the upbringing I had that fostered my creativity. My grandmother taught me how to embroider, my mother introduced me to a sewing machine, and my father brushed paint to canvas. These days my sons keep me up in technology! I like to extend the life of clothing pieces by reusing, restyling and adding embroidery. Most of my work is in refashioning traditional menswear such as camo, shirts, neck ties and turning them into what I call “everywear”. I curate embroidery images that are unique and meaningful to our cultura. As we look ahead let’s upcycle with sustainability of our environment in mind.
